Question and Answer:

  • Tell us about yourself?
I go to Dassel-Cokato High School. I will be participating in the Work Program for my Junior year where I get to leave school early to go to work for elective credits. I've been interested in drone technology ever since drones have become a consumer product. Learning how IDS utilizes drone technology to provide solutions for clients has been fascinating to me. I've always been a big tech enthusiast so when I had the opportunity to be a part of IDS's Internship Program it was a dream come true for me. It has been a lot of fun being able to solve problems and using logical reasoning to find more solutions we can offer to future clients.
  • What makes you excited about working at IDS?
I am excited about the opportunities I have within the company. I don't just have one option for a job even as an intern there are multiple areas of the company that I can learn about and help with.
  • If you had a super power what would it be?
I think it would be the ability to read peoples' true emotions so I could know if someone I know is having trouble with something emotionally and then help them feel better. It would also be helpful so I could know if I am annoying or offending someone because of the way I am putting my words together.
  • What skills do you want to gain from this experience at IDS?
I  want to be able to learn how to communicate in a professional manner and also learn more about BIM and Software Development. Additionally, I would want to really understand how the business works as I gain more experience working with IDS.
